If you have been reading the blog for a while you know I love reviewing beauty products. I have been very happy with the products from the Skin Pro company that gives us Elite Serum. You can read my Elite Serum review to know what I am talking about. They have come out with a new complete facial care system called Bellapulse. This product is great and has made my skin feel so much cleaner then just using regular water and cleanser.
I love trying new beauty products so I jumped at the chance to review the new Lancome Dream Tone. With all the changes happening to my skin throughout this pregnancy, I figured it couldn’t hurt to try. Lancome Dream Tone is a serum specially formulated to reduce the appearance of dark spots, uneven skin tone and color imperfections. I have noticed some red spots that I would like to get rid of so I put it to the challenge.
Lancome Dream Tone is a very creamy serum. It comes in a 1.3 fl oz. bottle for $98. It comes in 3 different varities: 1- Fair, 2 – Medium, 3 – Dark. You do get a rather large sized bottle and a little bit goes a long way. The serum has an orange look to it but goes on clear and smooth. My skin feels so soft after I use this serum. It can be worn under your makeup and moisturizer. To see the best results I used it twice a day for 3 weeks. I do notice that some of my red spots have diminished and my face has a more even looking skin tone. I also noticed that the darkness under my eyes has diminished too. Trust me, I’m not getting any sleep during this stage of pregnancy so this is a major improvement.
I’m always on the look out for the latest and greatest beauty products. What girl isn’t? I have tried the Elite Serum and reviewed it in the past so I was excited to try their new formula, Elite Serum Rx! Also, with the changes my body is going through this couldn’t have come at a better time. I am always tired and my eyes are showing that. Between the new lines and puffiness, I knew I could put this serum to the test.
The Elite Serum Rx comes in a very similar packaging as the Elite Serum. It looks like a big syringe and it even locks so that you won’t have serum leaking out. It comes with a plastic top and a rubber tip to help keep everything in place as well. So you know you won’t have a mess all in your makeup bag. The serum is more like a gel then an actual liquid. It goes on smoothly and evenly. I only needed a pea sized amount to cover both eye areas and that was it.
Here is another great deal on Michael Todd product. You can get the Michael Todd Eye-o-Sonic Serum Infuser and Eye Treatment for only $25 (reg. $107) on Living Social. It helps combat fine lines, puffiness, and more. This fun, battery-powered, hand-held tool uses 160 oscillations per second of ultrasonic micro pulses to enhance your skin’s absorption of topical eye-area treatments.
