Best Sites for Spring Fashion on a Budget

March 7, 2016 by hewella1 Leave a Comment

One of my favorite things about spring, besides the weather, are the cute clothes. I love wearing tanks, dresses, sandals, shorts, skirts, etc. Getting a new spring wardrobe can add up quickly but you don’t have to make do with last year’s trends. I’ve compiled my favorite websites for getting spring fashion on a budget.

I love the bright colors and pastels that come along with spring clothes. Redheads just look good in mint! Clothes really do effect your mood and the colors that are in style this year are so vibrant and really make you feel happy and alive. You can find the most stylish clothes and accessories while making your money go even further by shopping at these sites.

Must-Haves for Running Errands with a Toddler

January 7, 2016 by hewella1 Leave a Comment

This post is brought to you by Walmart and Healthtex courtesy of The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.

As a mom to a spirited young child, I have learned that running errands used to be a pleasure that I now dread. I always keep several items with me at all times to make running errands with a toddler so much easier and more tolerable.

Have a more calm and enjoyable experience running errands with your toddler.

I stay at home with my daughter so if I need to go anywhere, she has to come with me. There is just no getting around it. She has actually started to look forward to going shopping with mommy and I think the fact that I always have a “survival kit” on hand makes it easier on both of us.

There are so many places that offer designer and name brand clothes, shoes, and accessories at a deep discount. This is a great way to invest in quality pieces for date nights or work attire for a fraction of the cost.

Make Money off your Clutter with VarageSale

November 2, 2015 by hewella1 2 Comments

This post is brought to you by VarageSale.

I have done some posts about making money off of your clutter and unwanted items before. For most of those ideas you have to mail your items in or ship them to the buyer. Well, there is an easier way with VarageSale. You can actually sell items in your own local community and not have to worry about shipping anything!

VarageSale Logo

Best described as a “virtual garage sale,” VarageSale is a free website and mobile app that is full of amazing local deals and ways to make extra cash decluttering your home. Connecting members with people they can trust makes buying and selling that much more enjoyable. VarageSale is open to communities nationwide but they have now launched new communities across my home state, North Carolina,  as of October 13th, 2015.
