One of the things I found myself looking for as I am shopping for baby supplies is a good car shade. I have found a few that I liked but they were just so plain and I wanted something that would be cute and affective. I came across a really cute one from Dreambaby®. They were kind enough to send me the Dreambaby® Adjustable Car Window Shade 2-pack for a review.
As a future new mom, I am always looking for the latest and greatest products for my baby. Of course I want her to have the best and be as comfortable as possible. I came across a new product from Baby Bee Haven. They carry the Cush n’ Go stroller cushion that will be perfect for my little one. I knew I had to give it a try.
Baby Bee Haven carries all kinds of different products to make life easier and safer for mom and baby. I had recently bought a new stroller/car seat combo for when the baby arrives. I couldn’t afford one of the super fancy ones so I got a middle of the line brand. I did notice that it wasn’t as plush as the more expensive ones so I thought the Cush n’ Go would be a perfect accessory to add to make my baby more comfortable. [Read more…]
I have discovered another great and innovative nursing shirt for all of you expectant and nursing mamas. Milk & Baby was kind enough to send me one of their Kangaroo T-shirts to review. Milk & Baby offers a wide selection of maternity, nursing, and baby products. I was really excited to try out their Kangaroo T-shirt because it is a 3- in-1 shirt so you get a lot of use out of the product.
The Kangaroo T-shirt is a nursing shirt, a baby carrier, and offers skin to skin contact for you and your baby. I will go ahead and tell you now that if you plan on ordering one go a size smaller then you normally would. The shirt is supposed to be nice and snug so it will hold your baby in place a lot better. I ordered a size X-small and it fit perfectly. The shirt does have stretch to it so if your weight fluctuates a little it can still be worn.
I have always been a safe driver (or at least try to be). I am even more aware of this now that I not only have myself to look out for but also my unborn baby. I am doing everything I can to keep myself and my baby safe but I didn’t even think about how the position of my seatbelt could affect my little one. If the seatbelt is sitting right across your abdomen you could potentially harm the baby if you slam on brakes on someone hits you from behind. Once I learned this I wanted to give the new Dreambaby® Bump Belt a try.
The Dreambaby® Bump Belt is a cool little device that helps keep your seatbelt in place below your baby bump so that no harm will come to the baby. It can be used from 2-9 months during your pregnancy. The product is simple yet effective. It is basically a little cushion that you place on your seat and it has two loops that hold the lap part of the seatbelt in place. It was very easy to install. I just put it in my seat, wrapped the two straps around the back of the seat to help keep the Dreambaby® Bump Belt in place, and then fastened my seatbelt like normal. I then pulled my seatbelt into the correct position and wrapped the two loops from the Bump Belt around it to keep it right over my hips. The loops have velcro so it is really easy to wrap around.
With my little girl on the way, there is just soooo much stuff to get. One of the things I really don’t want to skimp on are the health and safety items. When I was looking for a thermometer, I was mainly looking at the ear thermometers. I didn’t even know that the temporal thermometers existed…I am learning as I go :). I came across Safety 1st’s new line of Advanced Solutions products. I immediately saw the No Touch Temporal Thermometer and I knew I had to give it a try.
I love that you can take the baby’s temperature while they are sleeping! It has a large back lit display that makes reading the numbers very easy. You can even use it to measure food and water temps so you don’t have to buy a separate bath thermometer. It is so easy to use. All you do is hold down the measure button and hold it a few inches from the head, water, or food. It will then beep and give you the reading. If you are fine it even gives you a little smiley face.
