Having a baby is a life changing experience for everyone, including our four legged friends. For many, our dogs are our first babies and we want to make the transition as easy as possible for them. I have 2 dogs, Sadie and Obi, when I also had my daughter. I did some things to help prepare them for a new little person in the house but since then I have learned a lot more and wish I had done these things as well. Here is how you can prepare your dog for a new baby in the house to make it easy on them, as well as yourself.

Give Your Pup a Treat Every Month with BarkBox #Review
“I received product to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own. No compensation was received.”
This winter has been hard on my 2 pooches. It seems like they have been cooped up in the house with a crawling toddler for far too long. I know they are ready for Spring so they can get out and run around all day. One good thing about this month is that they get to try out a new BarkBox to keep them busy for now. They got to try out the BarkBox from January so it was a winter themed box. They were both so excited when it arrived!
For those of you that haven’t heard of BarkBox, it is a monthly subscription box full of dog goodies. You choose the size of your dog and which plan you would like: 1, 3, 6, or 12 month. The boxes arrive on the 15th of every month so it gives you and your dogs something fun to look forward to. My box included treats and toys for a medium sized dog. I have a medium and a small size dog so I figured they could share. My box included:

Potty Training Your Puppy with The Puppy Apartment
This is a sponsored post.
Potty training a puppy can be a very frustrating experience for new dog owners. I remember trying to get my dog Sadie potty trained when she was little. It was not easy and I went through a lot of puppy pads. A puppy can be stubborn and leave a mess all over the house. Some puppy owners try to cover all of the floors with newspapers or other things that can absorb the wastes and urine of a puppy. This can get very messy and even ruin your floors. Cats can be easily potty trained with litter boxes. Similarly, there are some ways that can be used to train a puppy to do its business in the right place. A special dog crate is designed to act as a bathroom and bedroom for a puppy. Modern Puppies is an example of a solution that provides potty training for puppies.
