One of my favorite places to score great deals on apparel is Costco. Yep, I said it! I have been able to get some great deals on name brand clothes for myself, my husband, and my kids. Most of the time I can get items for less than two dollars a piece! That is better than Goodwill prices. Here are my tips for how to get the best deals on clothes at Costco.
What I love about Costco is that they carry a wide variety of name brands like Calvin Klein, Eddie Bauer, Levi’s, Carters, Adidas, Puma, Champion, and more. So I’m not just getting deals on Kirkland or lesser known brands. These are great quality items that I can get amazing prices on.

How to Get the Best Deals on Clothes at Costco
End of Season Deals Instore
Every time I go instore to Costco, I always head over to the apparel section. They will have amazing deals on clothes at the end of every season. Just last week, I got my daughter a 2 pack of Eddie Bauer shorts for only $2.50, that’s only $1.25 per short!
If you are shopping for kids, make sure to stock up on various sizes for them to grow into when you see prices this low. It will help you save so much money in the long run.
The sales and prices tend to vary each week, so make sure to check out this section every single time you are there.
Buy More Save More
I love that when you shop online, you can take advantage of their buy more, save more discount. On most clothing items you can score an extra $20 off when you buy 5 items or $50 off when you buy 10 items. This will be given on top of any sale and clearance prices! The discount doesn’t include shoes, underwear, bras, or socks.
I was able to get some free clothes buy taking advantage of this deal. Look for items that are less than $5 or around that price and they will basically be free if you are buying 10 things. They had several dresses on sale for $4.97 so I bought my daughter one in each color for the size she was in and for the next size she will grow into. I bought a couple of other items to get to the 10 items and spent around $15 for 10 items of clothing shipped to my door!
Shop Low to High
To find the best deals online at Costco, make sure you search low to high. This way you will only see the best deals first and won’t miss out as you are scrolling down.
Share with Friends or Family
One time I came across a deal where a specific shirt was on sale for $9.97 and it was BOGO free! Now I wanted to also be able to stack it with the buy 10 items get $50 off but I didn’t need 10 of the same shirt (they only came in 2 different colors).
I knew that some family members may be interested in the deal though, so I sent them the link and they said to get them some as well and we would split the costs. We each were able to score some great quality shirts for only 99 cents a piece!
Don’t Miss Those Holiday Sales
I am usually able to get the absolute best deals when there is a holiday. Not the major holidays, but days like Labor Day, Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day, etc. Costco will normally have some great apparel deals for the day before or the day of these particular holidays. Yes, you can stack these savings with the buy more, save more discount!
Executive Membership
If you have an Executive Membership with Costco, you will earn 2% on each purchase you make. At the end of the year, you will receive your Costco rewards to spend in store. I wasn’t sure if the executive membership would be worth the extra cost (normal membership is $60 and executive is $120) but last year I earned more than twice what I paid for my membership!
By using all of the tips above, you now know how to get the best deals on clothes at Costco. It is a great way to stretch our budget while still getting high quality and stylish clothes for every member of my family.
