Oatmeal
Oatmeal is a great DIY natural beauty product for your skin as well as for your heart. Take a cup of oats and put them in your bathtub as it fills with warm water. You can add a few drops of lavender oil if you really want to make it relaxing.
The oatmeal bath is great for dry and itchy skin. It helps to seal in moisture and soothe red and itchy areas.
Oatmeal is also great for people with sensitive skin. You can use it to make homemade exfoliants or facial cleansers.
Lemons
Lemons are great for lightening age spots. Simply cut one open and rub it on your age spots every night for a couple of weeks. Rinse when you wake in the morning and you should start to see results.
You can also use lemons to get rid of blackheads. Simply dilute a little bit of lemon juice with water and apply it on your blemish with a cotton swab. Let it dry completely and rinse in the morning.
The citric acid and natural astringent properties help to tighten pores which removes and further prevents blackheads.
