I love a good roast as much as the next person but I think I want to jazz it up with a new beef recipe for my holiday dinner. I came across some great beef holiday recipes from The Beef Checkoff, the leading authority on all things beef, and I thought I would share some of my favorites that you may want to try this holiday season.

Beef is actually a really affordable option for your holiday dinners, as well as any other meal throughout the year. Beef retail prices are down nearly 10 percent from the highest prices in late 2014, making it easier on your wallet.
Now is a great time to try out some new recipes that you may have been putting off. Try new ways to make roasts, steaks, and even ground beef. Ground beef is great for those busy weeknights!
I actually found quite a few delicious looking recipes that I can’t wait to try out. Some of my favorites are (photo credits: The Beef Checkoff):
Beef Stuffing with Apples & Cranberries
Beef Tri-Tip Roast with Rosemary Garlic Vegetables
Mini Merry Meatballs (would make great appetizers!)
Black Tie Beef Roast with Chocolate-Port Sauce and Goat Cheese Mashed Potatoes
All of these recipes would make a fantastic holiday meal. The low beef prices make them affordable and the recipes are not at all complicated. It sounds like even I could make them!
