We have a tradition in my family where we buy a new special ornament every year to put on the tree. I will continue that tradition with my daughter but I thought it would be fun to also make a new ornament each year. I found some adorable ideas for DIY kid’s Christmas ornaments that we might try to make.

Most of these are very inexpensive to make and they turned out amazing! Don’t forget to put the date on each one so that you will remember how old they were when they made it. These are such great keepsakes.
To make it easy, here are some products you might want to have on hand to make these:
I made this hand print reindeer ornament last year with my daughter. It turned out really cute and wasn’t too difficult to make. You can do this with either paint or a Sharpie.
If you don’t want to deal with the whole hand, you can make this fingerprint ornament. I think this is really cute and great for younger kids to help make.
For a lot of people, wine and the holidays go hand in hand. Don’t throw out the corks! You can turn them into this really cute cork reindeer ornament.

I love a good photo ornament and you can make these with washi tape. She uses a lot of supplies that I wouldn’t have on hand but you can cut them out with just some scissors instead of using a punch out.
