Hunting for the best deal can be exhausting not to mention time consuming. You scour the internet looking for coupon codes, sales, promos, etc. only to find out that the deal has expired.
It can be frustrating! I have found a new best friend for all of my fellow bargain hunters, Dealspotr.
Post may contain affiliate links.
I was introduced to Dealspotr a few weeks ago and it has been a game changer for me when it comes to finding the latest deals and coupon codes to use.
It is a social community full of people that love saving money, my kind of people. You go to Pinterest to see pretty images and tutorials but you go to Dealspotr to find the best deals.
Saves Me Time
I have used coupon and deal blogs to find the latest promos and deals but that can be so time consuming when I am shown deals I have no interest in. I don’t want to see deals on outdoor and sporting equipment because I have no interest in that. Someone without kids doesn’t want to scroll through baby deals to find something that interests them.
With Dealspotr, you have your own personal Feed that shows only deals and brands that you are interested in. You only subscribe to the ones you want to see.
When I log into my account and see my feed, the first ones that come up for me are Starbucks and Toys R Us, I love coffee and I have a 2 year old so I am subscribed to these! I am also subscribed to Target, CVS, Kohl’s, and other stores that I frequently shop.
You can choose who to see in your feed by subscribing to specific brands or just choosing categories. You can also follow other members of the site to see the deals that they have personally posted.
Easy to Navigate
It is so easy to find the deals you want on Dealspotr. When you are in your feed, you can click on Hot Deals or On Fire Deals to see the best deals for the topics you are interested in.
With On Fire deals, members of the community vote on their favorite deals for that day. Hot Deals are deals that people vote on that they think are up and coming deals.
I also take advantage of the search bar when I am looking for a particular item. I will type in “ankle boots” and it will bring up all the results that I can search through by brand, interest, people, or deals. I always hit Deals and it brings up everything all in one place so I can pick the best deal for me.
Make Money off your Coupon Skills
Saving money is great but did you know that you can also make money off Dealspotr? When you are an active member of the community, you can earn points that can be redeemed for gift cards.
You earn points for sharing deals, spotting (curating) deals, flagging invalid deals, referring new members, making comments on deals, and many other actions.
You earn a $10 gift card for every 10,000 pts. you earn. You can get your first 5,000 pts. (worth $5) by using my link and entering code HEWELLA1.
If you love bargain hunting and bragging about the deals you got, this is a great way to help others save and make some extra money.
I love that Dealspotr rewards it’s members. They know you are valuable and want to make it worth your time. It is really easy to post a deal that you found.
Just go to the left hand side of your feed and hit My Deals, then hit Post a Deal. Just choose if it is a store or site wide deal or just on a particular item and it walks you through the rest.
You can post any link, code, printable, or combination that provides a valid discount on a retailer’s website or in-store. When posting product deals, you’ll be asked to link to the best available price on either Google or Amazon to validate that your deal is actually better than what shoppers can typically find on their own.
They do require new members to include a screenshot with your deal demonstrating that you’ve tested the deal and verified it is a valid deal. You should actually test a promo code on the retailer’s website and screenshot the code in action and include that with your deal. This helps the community and increases overall trust in all the deals on Dealspotr.
All the Deals Work
I hate looking for deals, find a great one, and then it doesn’t work when I get to checkout. The great thing about Dealspotr is that all of the deals and coupon codes are verified! No more expired codes!
When someone posts a deal, they require that they have a screenshot showing that the deal worked for them. This prevents people from just copying and pasting what they find on other coupon sites. The problem with other coupon sites is that the majority of the deals don’t work!
This has saved me so much frustration and headaches when I am shopping.
If Dealspotr sounds like it will make your life easier, like it did mine, please sign up and use my referral code to get your first $5! Use code HEWELLA1.
I will never go back to crummy coupon sites again!
