I want to give my child the world, don’t we all? As a mother, I find myself having to take a step back so that she can have more independence. I have made a mother’s promise for a bright future for my child. I want her to be capable and independent when she gets older but I also want to be there to give her a helping hand when she needs it.
This post is brought to you by Pampers Premium Care diapers at Walmart and Acorn Influence.
One way I plan on doing this is by saving for her education. I want her to be anything she wants to be. I know that with hard work and determination, she can take on the world. I want her to be able to go to any school she wants, whether that be a trade school, technical school, or 4 year college.
My mother wasn’t able to help me out financially like she wanted when I went off to school. She did what she could and I will be forever grateful for that. I had to take out loans and work my way through school. It made me more appreciative for what I had and I think made me a stronger person as well.
It was still very hard trying to get everything done for school, I was pre-med, and work. I barely scraped by financially and it put a lot of stress on me. I want my daughter to be able to focus on her studies. I think that she should still pay for some of it because it will make her feel more invested in her education and not take it for granted.
I do want to be able to pay for the majority of her tuition. To do this, I am saving money every single month. I have made a monthly budget template and I print it out every month and hang it on the fridge. I see it every day and it is a constant reminder for me to stay on track with my finances so that I have enough left over to go into her college savings.
I have created this budget template as a promise to her and her future. You can download it yourself so that you can start saving for your child’s future education as well. Hang it somewhere that you will see it every day as a reminder. Giving them the best opportunities that we can is what makes being a parent so rewarding.
I am making this #MothersPromise for her future but I also promise to give her the best I can even now when she is still in diapers. I have partnered with Pampers to help keep my mother’s promise for a bright future and the many more promises that are yet to come. I have been using their new Pampers Premium Care diapers that I bought from Walmart on my daughter for a few weeks now and I love the difference they are making.
I have tried the other Pampers diapers when she was an infant and I loved the wetness indicator. The Premium Care diapers have this feature as well. They are also hypoallergenic and are very breathable. She hasn’t had any diaper rashes since I made the switch. The diapers offer 5 star skin care that I really notice.
Make your own Mother’s Promise to your child now by using a top tier, high quality diaper like Pampers Premium Care. Make a promise for their future by saving using my free template. If you can only save a few dollars, it will still make a huge difference in their lives.
What is your mother’s promise for a bright future?
