We are all busy, right?! It is so hard for me to find time to exercise so I love time saving workouts. I want them to be effective but less than 30 minutes so that I can be motivated to stick to them.

I have put together a few of my personal favorite time saving workouts. The thing I love most about these are that you can do them from home and you don’t need any workout equipment. Just use your own body weight or things you already have around the house.
My favorite place to get workouts is Shape Magazine. I subscribe so that I can get their latest workouts but if you don’t subscribe, you can still get some amazing workouts that they have on their website.
My favorite time saving workouts that are on Shape are:
Fast Abs workout (only 5 min)
Calorie Blasting Cardio (only 10 min.)
Stay Fit on the Fly (only 12 min.)
Another way that I save time working out is by doing it at home. I love doing workout DVDs whenever I can find the time. By the time I would have gotten to the gym, I’m already done with my workout! Plus, I don’t have to find someone to watch my toddler.
Some of my favorite DVDs are below.
Personal Training With Jackie: Xtreme Timesaver Training by Jackie Warner DVD is supposed to be done 3 times a week. The workout is only 30 mins and you get a head to toe workout using her interval training.
I am a huge fan of Jillian Michaels and I love the 30 day shred. I have done this program several times and I always see results. There are 3 levels and the workouts are only 20 min. You do push yourself hard but you get the results you want. I can’t recommend this enough!
I also like the 10 Minute Solution workouts. They have a lot of variety: interval training, kickboxing, tummy toner, butt lift, pilates, pre-natal, etc. There are several workouts on each DVD that are 10 minutes each. You can do one or all of them depending on your schedule.
No matter which workout you decide to do, I think the time saving workouts are crucial to help you stick to your exercise plan. They make it so that working out doesn’t seem so overwhelming. A little bit everyday does add up and you will start seeing results.
Are there any time saving workout that you stick to? I’d love to hear about them :).
