Best Drugstore Makeup for the Fall

You know I love scoring deals on drugstore makeup and cosmetics. I have been on the prowl for the best drugstore makeup for the Fall season. We change our wardrobe for the cooler months and I think we should change our makeup to go with it. My skin tends to get dry in the colder months, so I have to find products that will help with that too.

Look great without spending a fortune this Fall!

I have found some pretty good drugstore makeup products that have been working really well for me and they are priced just right. I get the look I want without spending a lot. Some of these products are new and some have been around for a while but I still love using them. I’m going to post pictures of myself using the products so you can see what they look like on me.

Obviously, they will look different with your skin tone and eye color but I think that the products are very good and worth the money. I don’t use any primers and I find that my makeup stays on all day! I highly recommend these products.

no makeup

It’s scary, I know, but I figured you needed to see how I look without any makeup on so you can see the magic these products work.

foundation

The first product I use is the Maybelline Dream Wonder foundation. This foundation provides really good coverage and it is a liquid but it dries with a matte finish. I don’t have to use powder when I use this foundation because it isn’t shiny at all. It lasts pretty much all day and it doesn’t make my skin look dry.

the concealer

I really love the L’Oreal True Match super blendable concealer. I have a toddler so I don’t get much sleep at night. This looks like I get at least 8 hours! I put it under my eyes, on my eyelids as a primer, and to cover up any redness or blemishes I have. It blends really easily and lasts all day! I really love this stuff.

I also use the Revlon PhotoReady concealer if I have a bad blemish. I find that it really helps cover them. I don’t use this under my eyes because I find that it is hard to blend. If you prefer the stick concealer, it is a good one to try out.

bronzer

When you are as pale as I am, you need a good bronzer. I use the Physician’s Formula Healthy Wear light bronzer. I like that it adds color without being too dark. I use it to contour, around my forehead and on the sides of my nose. I like having a little bit of color even in the fall. It gives off a nice little glow.

blush

I got tired of my hair being in the way, so I had to pull it back. For my blush, I really like the Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush. I use the color, Rose Petal. It is like a cream blush but it is very light. I just wear a little bit to give a hint of color but it is very easy to layer if you want a more dramatic look. It blends really well and lasts all day.

eyebrow

I have eyebrows! Who knew? For my eyebrow powder, I like using the NYX eyebrow cake powder in Blonde. It comes with 2 shades, I usually wear the darker shade, and a swatch of wax that you can use to tame any unruly hairs. This is just easier for me to put on than a pencil. I find that it blends better and it matches the color of my hair really well.

eyeshadow

For my eye shadow, I am in love with the L’Oreal La Palette Nude 1 and the Maybelline Blushed Nudes eye shadow pallets. The colors are so pretty and perfect for Fall. The colors last all day and you can do a natural look, like I have above, or a much more dramatic look. These pallets are the only two I have been using for the past month, they have every color I want. For the look above, I used The Blushed Nudes. If I had to pick just one, I would go with the La Palette Nude 1. It is a bit pricey for drugstore makeup, but I think it is worth every penny!

eyeliner

For eyeliner, I have switched from a normal pencil liner to the Maybelline Lasting Drama waterproof gel pencil. I love the fact that it is a gel liner but I can put it on like a pencil. It makes applying it so easy. The liner really stays on all day. I really have to work with my makeup remover to get it off. I love that it doesn’t smudge and stays in place. I use the color Glazed Toffee.

finished look   finished look 2

To finish off my look, I apply some Maybelline Great Lash mascara. It is an oldie but a goodie. I like this mascara because it doesn’t clump my lashes and doesn’t rub off. I also apply some Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in the shade Blushing Mauve. This lipstick doesn’t dry out my lips and I just love the color!

That is my everyday look and the products I am using this season. I hope you like it and have gotten some ideas for your Fall makeup. Do you have any favorite drugstore makeup for the Fall? I would love to hear what products you recommend. I am always looking for new ones to try!
