I admit it, I am not very crafty. I do, however, like to browse around Pinterest and see all of the cute things that people make. I saw a super cute Halloween BOO sign that would be so cute on my front door. It looked so simple that even I could do it!
I tried it and I think it turned out pretty good. It is cute and didn’t cost much to make.
I got everything that I needed at Hobby Lobby. The letters were on sale for $2.44 a piece. There were some letters I could have gotten for only $1 a piece but I liked the look of these a lot better.
I also got the Krylon Glitter Blast (affiliate link) in Starry Night for $5.59 and the cute Halloween ribbon was only $1. So this sign cost only around $13 to make. You can read my post on how to save on craft supplies for more money saving tips.
All I had to do was spray the letters with the spray paint and let it dry for 24 hours. I love the sparkly look of letters! I then just tied them together with the orange and black ribbon.

The store had a bunch of different Halloween ribbons to choose from. I might go back and get some more so that I can tie a big bow at the top. Maybe when stuff starts going on clearance ;).
I love my little sign and I think that it is a great starter project for people that don’t consider themselves crafty, like me. What do you think? Have you made any cute Halloween crafts this year? Let me know what you have made.
