How To Get Coupons for Free

August 27, 2015 by hewella1 Leave a Comment

We all know the best places to find coupons are in the newspaper and online coupon sites. But sometimes you can’t find coupons for the items you use the most and buying several copies of the newspaper can get a little pricey. The secret to getting some really great coupons and possibly even free product coupons is to email companies directly. This is how to get coupons for free.

How you can get coupons for free without paying for a newspaper subscription.

I have been doing this for a while and I’ve gotten some great high value and free product coupons for products I love and actually use. I’ve even gotten a case of a product sent to my home! I usually will go through my house and make a mental list of all the products we use on a regular basis. I will then contact the companies that make those products via email. I’ll usually email around 5 companies a day so it doesn’t take too much time and my mailbox will usually have some coupons in it everyday. It’s nice to get something besides bills :).

It’s really easy to do. Just go to your favorite companies websites and find the contact tab. It will usually be in the top or bottom part of the page. You can then send them a message telling them how much you love their products. I will usually let them know what a great job they are doing and send a positive email. If they have a new flavor or product that I just tried, I’ll tell them how much I liked it.  Just be honest in your message. I never ask directly for coupons. They usually send them as a thank you for the email. Not every company will send coupons, but most do.

This is a good practice if you want to save money on products that don’t usually have coupons like organic food, certain baby and pet food, etc. It can be as time consuming as you want it to be. But once you start getting those great coupons for free in the mail, it will be all worth it.
