I rarely have time to myself, but when I do, I love sitting down and reading a magazine. Something about it is very relaxing and I also get some great inspiration for blog posts! I get a lot of free magazine subscriptions delivered right to my house.
I don’t think I have paid for a magazine in over 5 years. I get subscriptions to Cosmopolitan, Shape, Parents, Martha Stewart, Better Homes and Gardens, Family Circle, etc. These are all the ways I get free magazine subscriptions and you can too…no strings attached!
Mercury Magazines
Mercury Magazines is a great site for free magazines. You do have to fill out a short form to get started. You have to list your business trade but you can choose “Homemaker”. Depending on what you put, it will come up with some business magazines for you. A lot of times they will have mainstream magazines that you can choose from too.

Rewards Gold
With Rewards Gold, you do have to take surveys in order to get your free magazine subscriptions but they are usually very short. I’ve gotten Shape, OK!, and Cosmopolitan just to name a few. Just from looking at the front page, I can see that they are offering Family Fun, New York, Golf Week, and The Wall Street Journal as of this posting.
Value Mags
I’ve gotten most of my magazines from Value Mags. Their free magazine offers change every once in awhile so it is good to check every couple of weeks for new offers. As of this posting, they are offering Shape, Bridal Guide, Oxygen, Motor Trend, Shutterbug, and more.
Recyclebank
At Recyclebank, you can earn points for learning online and taking actions, like recycling. Those points can be redeemed for a variety of fun deals or discounts and on products and services that are good for you, your wallet, and the planet.
You can get free magazines, coupons, and discount codes. They have pretty much every popular magazine and it is very easy to earn points.
Reward Programs
I am a member of several rewards programs where I buy products and enter the codes that are located somewhere on the packaging. I do this with MyCokeRewards, DisneyMovieRewards, Huggies Rewards, and Pampers Gifts to Grow. These are all free to sign up and you may even get points just for signing up.
You can redeem the points for a variety of rewards, including free magazine subscriptions. I know that you don’t even really need to buy Pampers to get points for their program. You can do a quick Google search for “Pampers reward codes” to start accumulating points.
These are just a few that I personally do, I’m sure that there are plenty more out there.
Survey Sites
I’m a big fan of survey sites, the legit ones, and have made hundreds off of them throughout the years. It’s a very easy way to earn some extra cash and I’ve never had any trouble redeeming my points.
These are great because you can earn points to redeem for free magazine subscriptions or gift cards to places like Amazon where you can buy a subscription with the gift card.
I like doing surveys because you can do them while you watch TV and you can do as many or as few as you want. Here are a few that I recommend:
- Toluna: Can cash out for gift cards to Visa, Amazon, and Paypal.
- My Survey: Can cash out via Paypal or gift cards to Amazon.
- Global Test Market: Earn Amazon gift cards or cash out via Paypal.
- Earning Station: They offer gift cards to Amazon, Visa, and Paypal.
- Inbox Dollars: You will receive a check that you can put toward a new subscription.
- Swagbucks: There are so many ways to earn from watching videos, internet searches, surveys, games, and more. They offer gift cards to Amazon, magazine subscriptions and PayPal.
Discount Mags
Sometimes, you won’t be able to find your favorite magazine for free. There are ways to still save on them, though. Discount Mags offers pretty much every magazine you could think of. They have some great deals that will save you a lot of money compared to buying off the magazine rack. Check out their Special Deals section for Value Bundles and Under $10 deals.
Those are the main sites that I use to get my free magazine subscriptions. I have never received a bill and I never have to input any personal information, like a credit card. These have worked for me and I hope they help you save while still enjoying your favorite magazines.
If you use any other sources for free magazine subscriptions, please let us know in the comments. I know others would love to hear.
