New Mom Beauty Essentials you will Love
CC Cream
This is my absolute favorite new mom must haves. I fell in love with CC Creams because they were such a time saver. They can replace up to 7 products with this one little tube!
They provide coverage so you don’t have to wear foundation, they moisturize, even skin tone, are anti-aging, and they even have sunscreen! You can’t beat that.
I will say the coverage is light but you can wear this under your normal foundation if you want even more coverage. I love using the Olay CC Cream, it was very affordable at around $15.
Dry Shampoo
Who has time to even shower, much less wash and dry your hair?! I loved using dry shampoo when my hair started looking a little flat and needed a boost.
There are a lot of dry shampoos on the market now so you can find one for your hair type. I really like the Dove Dry Shampoo, it is only $4! You just spray it in and head out the door.
Hair Elastics
This goes with the above statement, I didn’t have time to wash my hair, I certainly don’t have time to style it. My go to was a ponytail, and still is unfortunately.
Invest in some good hair elastics. I like the ones that say “No Damage” or ” Ouchless“. I know a ponytail is not the best option for your hair but when you have a baby yanking on it all day, you will be glad you put it up.
If I wanted a to change up my style, I would use the Sleep Styler to quickly get curls or waves. I just put them up before I went to sleep and had curls when I woke up. It literally took me seconds to just brush my fingers through them in the mornings.

Lip Balm
Lip balm is another new mom beauty essential that I always had with me. I have to have some color on my lips so that I look alive.
I had my baby in the winter time so my lips stayed dry a lot. I loved using a tinted lip balm like Maybelline Baby Lips. They kept my lips soft and they come in a bunch of different colors to give your lips a nice shine. I kept this in my diaper bag all of the time.
Concealer
When you’re going on little to no sleep, concealer will be your best friend. I had a lot of dark circles under my eyes with my newborn.
I liked using Maybelline Age Rewind concealer because it comes in a variety of shades and it is only $7! It helped me look not so zombie-like.
Spray on Lotion
I loved using the lotion that you can just spray on after I had a rare shower. Like I said, I had my baby in the winter so my skin was dry.
I used the Vaseline Spray and Go lotion. I liked that I didn’t have to wait for anything to dry. I just sprayed it on, rubbed it in a little, and got dressed. That was all I had time for, really.
Night Cream
I know that the last thing you want to do is put on night cream. You really just want to dive right into bed, but your skin will look much better and brighter if you just rub some on and it really only takes a minute.
I used L’Oreal Revitalift night cream and I really noticed a difference in my skin. It seemed a lot firmer and fuller once I started using it. I love that it is less then $20, too!
Mascara
I’m a Ginger so that means my eyelashes are pretty much invisible without mascara. I don’t leave the house without mascara on. I liked using CoverGirl Lashblast mascara.
It darkened my lashes and made them look longer. There is nothing like long lashes to make you look more awake.
These were my must have new mom beauty essentials. My advice is to stock up on these before the baby arrives so you have everything you need to feel beautiful.
It just made me feel better and less frumpy to have on some basic beauty products. Every mom deserves to feel beautiful even if she is exhausted.
I don’t think I got really made up until 4 months after I had my baby. It was my birthday so we had a very rare date night. What were some new mom beauty essentials you had to have?
