Soybu: Look Great While Getting Fit

I won’t lie, it has been awhile since I have had a good workout. I do get out and go for walks while I push my daughter in her stroller and we go to the playground to play. I also take her to a Gymboree class once a week and I think I get more of a workout then she does! I am always looking for clothes that are comfortable but won’t make me look like a “frumpy Mom”. I found out about Soybu and all of the cute yoga clothing and active wear that they have. I am in love!

Soybu has all kinds of stylish clothing for yoga, exercise, or just for everyday wear. They have clothing for women, men, and girls as well as Plus sizes. They also use eco-friendly fibers into the clothes so that they have as little impact on the environment as possible. Their clothes are perfect for running errands, working out, or just lounging around the house. For a busy mom like me, this is great!

     

I was sent a few pieces from their new Orchid Pond Collection to try out. I received the Cierra Tunic in Pink Moon, the Sylvie Capri in Pink Halftone, and the Meryl Wrap in Black. I wore the top and the capris to my daughter’s Gymboree class to really put them to the test. They are so comfortable! They have the right amount of stretch and the fabric is breathable. Most of the other moms wear yoga or lounge pants to the class. I love how my capris stood out with the colorful print on the back of the legs. The capris also have a little hidden pocket on the waistband so you can use it for a key if you want to go for a run.

I also love the straps on the back of the top. I think it gives it a very feminine look. The colors are bright and gorgeous. I think the top has great support but it also stretches to give you some extra room. I ordered a Medium and it fit perfectly. It also has slits on the inside of the bra top so you can add padding if you want to. I just love it.

I also like the Meryl Wrap because it is the perfect cover up. I can wear this when I run errands on a chilly day or just wear it after a workout. It is very light weight and sooo soft! The sleeves are ruched so you don’t have to keep sliding them up your arm if you get a little warm. I use this when I go to the movies. You know it is 80 degrees outside but when you go into a theater it feels like it’s 50 so this is great to have on hand if you get a little chilly. I think this would look so cute paired with a grey tank, some skinny jeans, and flats.

I was a little skeptical trying out Soybu clothing but I was pleasantly surprised. It really is a different kind of performance wear. I love that I will get so much use out of the clothes. I feel comfortable and my finacé said I looked good in them too. You can’t beat that!
