SiliBake Pastry Mat Makes Baking Easier (+ $50 Visa Gift Card Giveaway)

I like to bake but I just hate the clean up that comes after you get to enjoy those yummy treats we make. Not to mention having to always have parchment paper on hand so your cookies and other goodies don’t get stuck to the pans. I found a great solution with the SiliBake Pastry Mat. This thing is so cool! I think anyone who loves to bake will really enjoy this.

I used this mat when visiting my Mom. She was so nice enough to make my favorite breakfast, sausage balls! These things are so good and very addictive! We used the SiliBake pastry mat to bake the sausage balls. She was a little bit skeptical and thought they would be ruined. She was pleasantly surprised to see that they came out perfectly and even the bottoms got brown and crispy just like we like them. She also said that the sausage balls weren’t as greasy because all of the grease had stayed on the mat as you can see in the picture below.

Another really neat thing about the Silibake pastry mat is that it has the places marked where you can put your cookies so that they are evenly spaced. There are also recipes for pie dough and sugar cookies right on the mat. They also have liquid measure conversions, weight conversions, and temperature conversions that come in handy when you are in the middle of baking something. The mat lies perfectly flat and you can roll it up for easy storage.

The Silibake pastry mat is rather large. As you can see it takes up almost all of my stove top. I had to fold it under so that it would fit on my largest baking sheet. It was very easy to clean. I just used some regular dish soap and wiped it clean with a sponge. It is dishwasher safe though. I love that this also saves me money! I won’t have to use parchment paper for my baking anymore. I think this is a genius idea and is a must have for any baker. If you would like to purchase your own Silibake pastry mat, you can use code SILIRG50 to get 50% off the regular mat or use code SILIXL20 for 20% off the large size mat. These codes are good through May 31st.

Silibake is being so nice that they are going to offer one of my readers their very own Silibake pastry mat as well as a $50 Visa gift card!! How great is that!? This is open to US only. Just fill out the form below.

I love to bake during the holidays and celebrations especially for the children. I love making whimsical cake pops for special occasions as muppets and zoo animals…
