Smile Brilliant! Review & Giveaway

August 26, 2014 by hewella1 8 Comments

There are so many ways to get whiter teeth these days: whitening strips, pens, dentist visits, and the list goes on. I need something that will work but won’t cost a small fortune. I think I have found the answer with Smile Brilliant! This is a great service that offers customizable trays and whitening gel to give you a whiter and brighter smile without breaking the bank.

smile brilliant kit

I was sent a Smile Brilliant! kit to try for myself. It included: 3 sets of catalyst and base paste, 3 desensitizing syringes, 3 whitening syringes, and 2 trays. I just followed the directions to make my own teeth molds, one for the upper set and one for the lower set. It even came with an extra set of molding paste in case you mess up. It was really easy to make my molds and took no time at all. I then put my molds in a prepaid envelope that was included in the kit and sent it to their dental labs so they could make my very own whitening trays to fit me perfectly.

The Smile Brilliant! system is really fast! I received my finished trays in only a few days. They also kept me updated every step of the way via email so I knew when they should arrive. Once I got them, I tried them on and they fit great. Now for the fun part, trying out the gel. Each syringe contains enough gel to do three applications. I used the desensitizing gel first for about 30-40 minutes and then put in the whitening gel for about an hour each time. It says you can leave the gel on for up to 3 hours or more but that was way too long for me and my teeth starting getting sensitive.

before   after

I used 2 full syringes, which is 6 applications, over about a week and a half. I skipped some days when I just didn’t have time to whiten. So far so good! I can really tell a difference in my teeth. It does seem like the bottom of my teeth got whiter then the rest in the picture but it really isn’t that bad when you are looking at them at a normal distance. I will keep whitening maybe once a week with the last syringe.

I like that the Smile Brilliant! system is easy to use and you can do it whenever you want, no dentist appointments! Prices start around $120 so it is affordable too. But most importantly, you see results with this system! I can’t say that about the whitening strips I have used in the past. Check out Smile Brilliant! for more info and testimonials to see if this might work for you.

Smile Brilliant! is being kind enough to offer one of my readers their very own kit to try out themselves. Just fill out the form below. This is open to US residents only. Good luck!

I’ve tried Crest whitening strips and no, they didn’t work. I’ve also used baking soda to brush and a peroxide rinse with some mild results.

Honestly just ask your dental hygienist when the Dr isn’t in the room what works best over the counter & she’ll tell you. Most of us can’t afford or would rather not pay-for what they have in the office! Don’t forget- swishing with hydrogen peroxide & baking soda (4-5 min) for a few days in a row won’t kill you before an event. That’s basically all strips are when it comes down to it.
