I was asked to host a Cascade Platinum Shining Reviews Party to introduce people to Cascade‘s premium product, Cascade Platinum. I had a few of my friends and family over to my mom’s house and we had a BIG lunch with lots of dirty dishes to try out the new product for ourselves. I’m talking roast beef, rice & gravy, mac & cheese, green beans, brownies, and strawberry shortcake! Is your mouth watering yet? It was delicious!
I was really interested to see how Cascade Platinum would do on these dishes, we had a huge mess to clean up. We were told not to pre-wash or soak any of the dishes, just scrape out the food and stick them straight in the dishwasher. According to Cascade, it works best when food soil is left on the dishes because special enzymes latch onto the food breaking it down so it can wash away. If there is no food soil, then there’s nothing for the enzymes to attach to and your detergent isn’t working it’s hardest for you. I always pre-wash my dishes so this was hard for me to do. I wasn’t sure if they would really get all of the stuck on food off.Plus, I made the brownies the night before so we had 24 hour stuck on food to deal with too. The brownie pan wasn’t too bad to begin with since I greased it real well and the brownies came right out.
I was worried about all of the food damaging the dishwasher but there is a garbage disposal built into the bottom of almost all dishwashers that works just like the disposal in the sink, I didn’t know that! We had several loads of dishes to do so we really put the Cascade Platinum to the test. I used both the detergent and rinse aid with each load and the dishes came out sparkling clean! All the stuck on food was gone. I love that the Cascade Platinum even works to keep your dishwasher sparkling clean as well as your dishes.
This will save me a ton of time pre-washing. I will probably still soak the really hard to clean dishes just because habits are hard to break. Everyone at the party really enjoyed all the food and seeing how clean all the dishes got at the end of the party. They were also sent home with their very own Cascade Platinum to try out for themselves and write their own reviews. I hope this helps make doing the dishes less daunting for everyone.
