I love monthly subscription boxes. They are just so fun and exciting to open. You never know what is going to be inside! I found a new monthly subscription box called The Trendy Box. They offer 2-4 different jewelry or accessory pieces each month. I have reviewed other jewelry subscription boxes before so I was interested to see how The Trendy Box would stack up.
I received three pieces of jewelry in my Trendy Box. I got a bracelet, necklace, and a pair of earrings. The first item is the Goddess Cuff bracelet (retail $29.99). I actually like this item the best. I love cuff bracelets and the gold color is very pretty. It is not cheaply made and I can see myself dressing up several outfits with this.
The next item was the Sophie’s Link Chain necklace ($39.99). I think it is just OK. It’s not really my style. It is too chunky for me and I just don’t see myself wearing it very often. I did show it to my mom though and she loved it. She said it would match some of the jewelry she already owns so this will be going to her.
The last item was the pair of Chevron Drop Gems earrings ($29.99). I really don’t like these. They are way too big and long for my taste. The quality is just OK. I could see these coming apart fairly easily if they are pulled on. They just really aren’t my style but the colors are pretty.
The Trendy Box is a good concept if you love changing up your look with accessories. You can choose from four different subscription plans to fit your budget. A one month subscription starts at $35. There are several differences between this subscription box compared with other jewelry boxes I have reviewed before. I notice that when you sign up for your subscription, you don’t take a style profile quiz. I actually prefer the style profiles because they know more about your tastes and what items to send you so you will actually like what you receive.
One thing I don’t like about The Trendy Box is that you cannot return any items from your box if you don’t like them. You are basically stuck with them and maybe can find someone else to give it to. I do like that you can cancel your subscription at any time. Also, if you love a piece that you received and want to give one as a gift, you can buy individual pieces from their shop without having to get another box. Check out The Trendy Box and start adding to your jewelry collection. This would make a great gift idea for a teenage girl.
Disclosure: I received a Trendy Box for review purposes only. All opinions are my own.

I have never heard of this before and I really appreciate your honest review. I would be skeptical of this type of subscription just because I am picky when it comes to my jewelry. Might be fun for someone in college as a gift though since you can cancel anytime.
