I hate cleaning! I don’t know anyone who actually really likes it but it’s something that needs to be done. Now that I am 7 1/2 months pregnant ( and getting bigger) cleaning my house is getting harder to do. I get tired more easily and it is harder for me to bend down and pick things up. I came across a nifty new tool that helps at least one aspect of my household cleaning, The Baseboard Buddy.
The Baseboard Buddy is a neat little tool that makes cleaning your baseboards so much easier. You don’t have to bend down or get on your knees to clean the baseboards anymore. It is basically a resuable pad that is attached to a long pole. The idea is simple but genius. It was already put together when it arrived so there is no assembly required. You can adjust the handle to make it longer or shorter depending on your height.

I have never really cleaned my baseboards before so they are a bit dirty. My nesting instincts are starting to kick in so I am really trying to clean and organize as much as I can. I sprayed some cleaner, Mr. Clean all-purpose spray, on The Baseboard Buddy and started cleaning the baseboards. The dust and grime came off really easily. I didn’t have to do a lot of hard scrubbing either. You can see all the mess it got up and that was just from the hallway, gross!
The Baseboard Buddy is too big to do the tiny little corners of my hall so I did have to get down to clean those but other then that, my back and knees didn’t ache at all when I was done. To clean the pad, I just rinsed it off in the sink and let it dry. I’m sure you could throw it in the washer too. Overall, I really like The Baseboard Buddy. It did what it said it should do and got my house much cleaner. You can buy The Baseboard Buddy on their website for $19.99 and the replacement pads are only $2.50.
Now one of my lucky readers will get the chance to win their very own Baseboard Buddy. This is open to US residents only. Just enter the form below. Good luck!
