Juil Sandals Review

September 3, 2013 by hewella1 Leave a Comment

Disclosure: I received a pair of sandals for review purposes only. All opinions are my own.

I have mentioned before how much I love flip flops and sandals. Now that summer is winding down I am trying to wear them as much as possible. I am always on the look out for cute comfortable sandals and I have found my new favorite pair at Juil.com. The concept behind Juil sandals is to bring you closer to the earth through their copper circles and they give you the feeling that you are walking barefoot.

I was sent the Hera style in Gold to review. I love the color of these sandals. They go with pretty much anything. There are 5 copper circles, one for each toe, and one at the heel. The copper circles are supposed to be a connection to the earth and help free our bodies of toxins. Their website says that “studies have shown that maintaining a direct connection between our bodies and the Earth’s surface is beneficial to our health.”

I don’t feel any differently when I wear them besides the fact that they are comfortable and they really do feel like you are walking barefoot. I have worn them several times while running errands and they are great!  I haven’t gotten any blisters while wearing the Hera Sandals. They fit well, I just wish they made half sizes because they are almost a bit narrow on my foot but not to the point where my foot is hanging over the side. The sandals are a bit on the pricey side at $125. You can get 20% off your first pair when you sign up for their emails.

Overall, I am very pleased with the Juil sandals. I think they are stylish and comfortable. Everything you want in a shoe right? They have a bunch of different styles for both men and women. These would make great gifts for yoga lovers!
