Citrus Lane Subscription Box Review

August 19, 2013 by hewella1 1 Comment

Disclosure: I received items for review purposes only. All opinions are my own. May contain affiliate links.

With my first baby on the way I am a little overwhelmed by which products are the best for me and my little one. Just going to register at a baby store was giving me a headache. Why are there 100 bottle choices and which one do I need? After doing some research I’ve gotten a better handle on things but I can still use help in finding the newest and best products for my future baby.

I came across a really neat subscription service called Citrus Lane. They offer monthly boxes full of fun things for you and your child. You can choose from ages Newborn-5 years old. The best part is that there are 3 plans to choose from so you can pick the right one for your budget:

1 month for $25

3 months for $25/month

6 months for $21/month

Each month you will receive 4-5 items and each box is worth at least $25. You will also get free shipping on every box. Citrus Lane helps new parents cut through the confusion and discover the best products and brands for their children, helping them save time and stay prepared for their child’s changing needs.

I was lucky enough to receive a newborn box from Citrus Lane to facilitate a review. I had no idea what to expect but I was so excited when my box came, and it came very quickly! I received four different items. The first item was an Aden + Anais burp cloth. I love the colors of the burp cloth and it is so soft and thick! I also got a pack of Little Buddy Wipes (32 ct.), a sample of Mum + Bub Soothing Ointment, and a code for 100 free Postagrams.

My favorite item in the box was this adorable Tiny Love Mini Mobile. It is so cute and you can hang it on the stroller or even the car seat to help keep baby occupied. The colors are bright and fun and it has little bells and mirrors too. So as you can see, you get some great products from some of the top brands in baby care.

You know I like to get my money’s worth so I did look up the price of each item to make sure the box equaled at least $25 since that is what you will pay for a 1 month subscription. I found the burp cloth for around $10 and the Mini Mobile was $15. So just those two items bring the total to $25. Not to mention the other items so I am assuming the total of my box came out to be $30.

I think this is a fantastic idea for new parents or for those of you who like to surprise your kids with new items every month. If you are a grandparent that lives far away, this would make an excellent gift for your grandchild! They would get surprises every month. Citrus Lane is offering 50% off your first month when you join so you can try the box for only $12.50! Just go here to sign up. “Offer Terms: Only new, first-time Citrus Lane subscribers who start a monthly subscription are eligible to redeem this offer. Multi-month packages and gift subscriptions do not qualify. To redeem this offer you must enter code TAKEHALF at checkout.”
