What to Buy in March

March 2, 2013 by hewella1 2 Comments

It’s a new month so that means a new list of the best things to buy. This list  helps you know what to buy in March. It includes food and merchandise that will be at their lowest prices this month. Hopefully it will help you know when to stock up on  certain items and when to wait for an even lower price.

Merchandise:

Jewelry: Stores have extra inventory after Valentine’s Day.

Ski and Snowboarding Equipment: The season is coming to an end so now is a great time to buy equipment for next year.

Luggage: There is a lag in travel between March and May so sales will be low which means lower prices.

Dishes and Flatware: There is a lull between Christmas and Wedding season so now is a good time to get some new tableware.

Perfume: Again, no one will be getting perfumes as gifts between Valentine’s and Mother’s Day.

Winter Apparel: All boots, coats, scarves, gloves, hats, blankets and more should be on clearance to make room for spring apparel.

Food:

  • Frozen foods: March is National Frozen Food Month
  • corned beef: St. Patrick’s Day
  • ham: for Easter
  • baking goods: for Easter
  • broccoli,
  • cabbage
  • spinach
  • asparagus
  • lettuce
  • artichokes
  • avocados
  • peas
  • lemons
  • limes
  • grapefruit
  • tangerines
