I wanted to post this yesterday but ran out of time. I hope everyone had a very happy and blessed Christmas! No matter what holiday you celebrate I hope it was filled with fun, laughter, and family. It was so nice to spend the holidays with all my family and getting to catch up. Not to mention all the yummy food that I ate, thanks for all the meals Mom!
As I’ve gotten older it’s become less about the presents and more about being thankful for what I have and the family I have that loves me no matter what. I know it sounds corny but it is true. I think even the dogs had a good Christmas. Sadie was a little mad she had to stay outside at Grandma’s house but she got over it when I gave her the big “Christmas bone”.
One thing that was too funny not to share was that I got some coupons for Christmas. It wasn’t intentional. My Mom’s fiance opened one of his gifts that was shipped to the house and it was full of newspaper…or so we thought. My boyfriend was sitting beside him and said “Wait, there are coupons in there!” I thought he was joking at first or had just spent way too much time around me and my couponing habits. He started pulling them out and handed them to me. They are ones from the latest inserts and don’t expire until March. It’s a Christmas coupon miracle!! LOL. So from now on I expect all my packages to be stuffed with coupons instead of the regular paper and styrofoam. Are you listening Amazon? 🙂
Let us know how you spent your holiday, what you got, or any funny stories that happened to you. I’m sure we will all love to hear them :).
