My days can be pretty hectic. After working for 8 hours a day, I come home and work on the blog, make dinner, clean the house, take care of the dogs, etc., etc. There is so much to do and so little time that it can get pretty stressful. That’s why I was so glad I discovered the soothing music of Jeff Gold “Escapes” CD.
I usually listen to the top 40 or rock radio stations in my car. I have about a 35-40 min (one way) commute to work everyday. I live in Charlotte which has some of the worst traffic I’ve had to deal with, and the fact that I get road rage (hey, I’m a redhead) is not a good combo. I decided the best place for me to relax was on my way home from work. I popped in the CD and gave it a listen.
It really helped! The music is so calming and relaxing it just put me in a completely different state of mind. I could tell that my blood pressure was normal and not skyrocketing like it usually does when I have to deal with horrible drivers. I was able to focus and keep a level head. I am so grateful for this CD that I have been listening to it everyday on the drive home. I still get mad when someone cuts me off but it’s not that big of a deal :).
This music would be great for a yoga class or massage office. The piano and guitar sounds are so beautiful together. It would really help parents that are at their wit’s end. Just draw a bubble bath, turn on the music, and you are in your own little world. The CD is only $15 and the download is only $8 so you can stick to your budget.

I love to read a good book, but don’t do it all the time because I don’t have enough self-control and end up going to bed late! So, I usually watch TV.
