I’m not much of a cook but I am getting better. I love trying out new recipes from cookbooks and Pinterest. I am a little obsessed with finding recipes on Pinterest, they seriously have the best ones out there. With all these new recipes I have there is one little problem. I don’t want to keep printing out every recipe, it wastes paper and I just don’t have the storage space for them. That is why I’m so glad I found out about the Cook’n Recipe Organizer.
The Cook’n Recipe Organizer is this great software that you download right onto your computer. It was really easy to download and came with great instructions and even demo videos you can watch to get the most out of Cook’n. They even have cookbooks you can purchase and download right onto your software. You can create your own cookbooks with all of your favorite recipes in no time. It was really easy for me. I created several; Ashley’s favorites, Pinterest recipes, and Family recipes. Everything I need is right on my laptop. I don’t have to store huge cookbooks anywhere and waste paper by printing the recipes (although there is that option on Cook’n).
My favorite feature on Cook’n is the search feature. You can type in a recipe that you are looking for and Cook’n will search the internet and bring up the best matches to what you are looking for. Then just add the recipe with one click to your cookbook of choice and you are done. You don’t have to type out the recipe, it does all that for you automatically. It’s such a time saver. I did this for my favorite chicken pot pie recipe from Pillsbury. I kept having to look it up every time I wanted to make it and now I know exactly where it is on my computer. The only thing I don’t like about this feature is it mainly pulls up recipes from recipe sites and not blogs. So if I find a great recipe on a blog, I have to copy and paste it in a new recipe instead of just being able to save it right from the Cook’n search page.
Cook’n offers so many great features like nutritional values, you can change the serving sizes of any recipe, you can create weekly menus in no time, and so much more. It even creates shopping lists from your recipes. It really is a great recipe organizer, everything I need is right there and it is so helpful. This would make a great gift idea for the chef in your life.
Cook’n is offering 2 of my readers the chance to win their very own copy of the Cook’n Recipe Organizer ($80 value). Trust me, you will love this. This giveaway is open worldwide since your prize will be sent to your email. Just fill out the form below. Good Luck!
