As you may know, I’m a member of Crowdtap. Crowdtap is a great site where you can take polls and even get to host parties and try new products. I was lucky enough to be chosen to take part in their Old Navy shorts sample and share program. I was sent 2 coupons for a free pair of shorts, one for me and one for a friend.
I was so excited to go shopping for some new shorts. I went with a friend and headed to the Old Navy in Concord, NC at Concord Mills. They had a nice selection to choose from. Everything from denim to khaki to linen. I first looked at the denim shorts. They had the regular blue denim, which I have a lot of already, and colored denim in green, pink, purple, and even yellow. I didn’t care for the colored shorts, they were just way too bright for me.
So I then decided to look at the khakis. I didn’t think I would find anything in that section because I’m usually bored with khaki but I fell in love with this pair. I chose the Women’s Perfect Khaki short in Rifle Gray. It’s the perfect color for me. It’s a great neutral color that isn’t loud like the denim and goes great with a ton of tops I have. I can pretty much wear them with anything.
I’ve worn them a couple times and have gotten compliments each time. I’ve worn them to run errands with just a t shirt and flip flops and I’ve dressed them up with a nice top, dressy sandals, and cute jewelry. My favorite part about these shorts is the length. They are 3-1/2” which is the perfect length for me. They aren’t so short that I constantly have to pull them down but aren’t so long that I can’t show off a little leg. Hey, I’ve been working hard during my workouts so I’d like to show them off a little :).
I want to thank Old Navy and Crowdtap for letting me get to try these shorts for myself. If you would like to sign up for Crowdtap, you can sign up at this link: http://bit.ly/mz042d.
