This is the second part of my How to Eat Healthy on a Budget posts. You may want to read How to Eat Healthy on a Budget part 1 before you get started. Today we will be discussing the different places you can get great deals on healthy foods.
One of the questions I get a lot is how do I get deals on healthy foods and products? It is possible to still stay healthy on a budget. It just takes a little more effort. I am going to break this down into a couple posts in order to cover everything. Today I will go over a few tips that you can use in any store that you prefer to shop.
This is the second part of my Best Time to Buy posts. You can go here to read part 1. This section will cover the best months to buy non grocery items.
January: Electronics (new models are coming in), Motorcycles, boats, tents, fishing gear, linens (White Sales), carpet, flooring, winter apparel, fitness equipment, vacation packages, christmas cards, calenders, wrapping paper
February: GPS, audio equipment, laptops, ski vacation packages, video games, Valentine’s Day items (after Feb. 14th), prom dresses (last season), cameras
When you are bargain hunting, timing is everything. You have to know when you will be able to get the best deal or the rock bottom price. This way you will be able to stock up when things are at their cheapest. This will save you a ton of money in the long run. I have put together a list of when things are at their lowest price. This is divided up by months. This will be the first list and only contains grocery items. I will be making a list in the future that will contain other items such as linens, clothes, electronics, etc. Hopefully this will help you plan out your shopping trips a little better.
