Oven Baked Chimichangas

I have another quick and yummy recipe for you. Oven Baked Chimichangas are so easy to make. I love Mexican food so I had to try this recipe. I love that it is baked and not fried, to help save on the calories. They were full of flavor and very crispy. My whole family loved them. This is a recipe I will make at least once a month. It is affordable and perfect for a busy weeknight.

Best Drugstore Makeup for the Fall

May contain affiliate links

You know I love scoring deals on drugstore makeup and cosmetics. I have been on the prowl for the best drugstore makeup for the Fall season. We change our wardrobe for the cooler months and I think we should change our makeup to go with it. My skin tends to get dry in the colder months, so I have to find products that will help with that too.

Look great without spending a fortune this Fall!

I have found some pretty good drugstore makeup products that have been working really well for me and they are priced just right. I get the look I want without spending a lot. Some of these products are new and some have been around for a while but I still love using them. I’m going to post pictures of myself using the products so you can see what they look like on me.

How to Keep your Sanity When your Baby Has Colic

I was shopping in Target the other day, you know that is my favorite place, and I saw that Little Remedies® has a new product called Advanced Colic Relief Drops in the baby aisle. Where was this 20 months ago when my daughter was born?! I could have really used this to help with her colic. When your baby is suffering from colic, it makes you feel so helpless. I did survive it, even though sometimes I didn’t think I would, and you can too! Here are some ways you can keep your sanity when your baby has colic.

Halloween BOO Sign

I admit it, I am not very crafty. I do, however, like to browse around Pinterest and see all of the cute things that people make. I saw a super cute Halloween BOO sign that would be so cute on my front door. It looked so simple that even I could do it! I tried it and I think it turned out pretty good. It is cute and didn’t cost much to make.

This Halloween BOO sign is super cute and really easy to make!

I got everything that I needed at Hobby Lobby. The letters were on sale for $2.44 a piece. There were some letters I could have gotten for only $1 a piece but I liked the look of these a lot better. I also got the Krylon Glitter Blast in Starry Night for $5.59 and the cute Halloween ribbon was only $1. So this sign cost only around $13 to make. You can read my post on how to save on craft supplies for more money saving tips.

Taking care of my family is easy; taking care of myself is a bit harder to do. Just like me, I’m sure you’re the resident expert at balancing the family calendar. Managing a successful and rewarding career while keeping the family on-time, dressed, and fed is the easy part. It’s making healthy decisions for myself where things get a little more difficult. Even though I’d love to make more than a seasonal appearance at my favorite kick boxing class or sit down with my girlfriends and enjoy a glass of wine and a well-balanced meal once in awhile, my schedule leaves me too busy to even think. What’s a busy woman to do?

Milk Jug Snack Box Tutorial

As a work from home mom, it seems that I am always on the go. I’m always running errands for my household and for my business, all with a toddler in tow. It can get a little chaotic. I pack my daughter a snack in the diaper bag and I try to remember to pack myself something as well. I am not a happy mommy when I am hungry. I tend to get angry; I get “hangry”.

Reuse an old milk jug and make it into a snack box.
